This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use and protect that information, and the choices you have with regards to your personal data. By using Vicegram, you agree to the terms listed within this Privacy Policy.

Our policies are designed to keep your information safe, give you control over your data, and ensure transparency about how we operate. This policy covers everything from the information you provide when creating an account, to how we use, share, and store your data. Please read carefully to understand how your privacy is protected on Vicegram.

Module 1: Your Data

The data we collect falls into two categories: Information You Provide and Information We Collect.

Information You Provide: To use Vicegram, you must create an account. When doing so, we require details such as username, password, and email. Optional information such as your name, bio, profile picture, gender, language, and location can also be provided. Some of this may be visible publicly unless you set your account to private.

Payment Information: If you purchase advertisements, you must add funds to your Vicegram wallet. Transactions are processed through PayPal. We never store your bank details and only retain necessary wallet and transaction information securely.

Security Information: To verify accounts, especially brand accounts, we may collect your full legal name. For age verification, we may request a short verification video Just Confirming You Are Who You Say You Are. This data is used only for verification and is deleted once processing is complete.

Information We Collect Automatically: While you use Vicegram, we gather usage data including your posts, interactions, device info, purchase history, and ad engagement. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used to improve services and personalize experiences. Non-essential cookies can be disabled.

Module 2: How Your Data Is Used

Vicegram uses collected data for three primary purposes:

• Improving and Personalising Services: We use your data to improve features, research usage patterns, and display more relevant content.
• Ensuring Safety and Security: Data helps us authenticate users, verify identities, prevent misuse, and protect the community.
• Communication: We use your information to contact you about updates, policy changes, and new products.

Module 3: Sharing Your Data

Your information is shared in the following ways:

• Posts You Make: Public posts are visible to anyone, including through search engines and embeds.
• With Other Members: Depending on settings, others may see your likes, follows, and messages.
• With Third Parties: Data may be shared with advertisers or API integrations. Sensitive data such as payment info and IDs are never shared.
• When Required by Law: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety.
• During Ownership Change: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred. You will have the option to delete your data if ownership changes.

Module 4: Data Retention

Data is stored depending on context:

• Profile information and posts remain active while your account exists.
• Non-account data is stored up to 18 months.
• Suspended account data may be held up to 36 months to prevent repeat violations.
• Legal obligations may require longer retention.

Module 5: Controlling Your Data

You may access and download your data via account settings in the form of a structured HTML file. You may also permanently delete your account, which erases all associated data from our servers. If your account is disabled for policy violations, data will remain securely stored for up to 36 months before deletion. Opt-out options are also available for certain types of data collection.

Module 6: Your Rights and Ours

We reserve the right to collect and use your data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We will never sell your data or use it for unlisted purposes. You reserve the right to access, edit, or delete your information, as well as to use limited features without fully accepting our Privacy Policy.

Module 7: Age Limitations

Vicegram is not for children under 15. Accounts belonging to users under 15 will be deleted permanently. Depending on country laws, age limits may vary, but our global minimum requirement to use Vicegram is 15 years old.

Module 8: Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy is current as of 31st August 2025. We reserve the right to update it as needed. If significant changes are made, you will be notified upon login and may choose to accept or deny the new terms. Please note that declining certain terms may prevent use of Vicegram’s services.
